2. Overview

This policy informs you, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), about the nature, scope and purpose of the processing of personal data on aobaosi.tech. In short: the website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or advertising services and loads no content from third parties. Fonts, images, videos and 3D models are hosted on our own server. We process personal data only when pages are accessed (server log files) and when you send us an enquiry.

3. Hosting and server log files

The website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, i.e. within the European Union. Each time a page is accessed, the server automatically stores information transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time, page or file requested, amount of data transferred, status code, referring page, and browser and operating system.

We need this data to deliver the website, to ensure its security and to identify errors. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the secure and stable operation of the website. The log files are stored only for as long as necessary for these purposes and are not merged with other data. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider.

4. Enquiry form and email

If you write to us via the enquiry form, we process the details you provide: contact person, company and email address (required fields) as well as, optionally, telephone number, country, message, selected products, quantity and keg size. The enquiry is forwarded by email to our European sales team. The same applies if you contact us directly by email or telephone.

We use the data solely to process your enquiry and to send you a quotation. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures at your request) and your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you give in the form and can withdraw at any time with effect for the future. The data is deleted once the enquiry has been finally dealt with, unless a contract results from it or statutory retention periods require longer storage.

5. Spam protection without cookies

We protect the enquiry form with our own “I am not a robot” check. Your browser solves a small computational task; no cookies are set, no image puzzles are shown and no third-party services are embedded. To limit abuse, the server stores the task used, together with a non-reversible hash of your IP address and the time of the request, for no more than one hour. These entries are then discarded automatically. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is protection against automated mass requests.

6. Cookies, analytics and fonts

This website sets no cookies and uses neither analytics nor marketing services. A cookie banner is therefore not required. The fonts used are stored locally on our server; when pages are accessed, no connection is made to servers of Google or any other provider. Videos and 3D models are also loaded from our own server.

7. Links to other websites

The website contains links, for example to our LinkedIn page, to partners and to testing bodies. You leave our website only when you click such a link; from then on, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies. No data is transmitted to these providers beforehand.

8. Transfers to third countries

The controller is based in the People's Republic of China. To process an enquiry, it may be necessary to pass your details on to the responsible employees in China, for example for quotation, production or shipping. There is no adequacy decision by the European Commission for China. The transfer takes place only where it is necessary for the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR). Beyond this, no data is transferred to third countries.

9. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time (Art. 7(3)). To do so, write to us using the contact details above.

You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence or place of work.

10. Further information

You are not obliged to provide us with personal data. However, without the required details in the enquiry form we cannot process your enquiry. There is no automated decision-making, including profiling. The website is transmitted encrypted via HTTPS.
