drinktec 2025: AOBAOSI makes a big appearance in Munich
At drinktec 2025 in Munich, AOBAOSI presented itself with a large stand of its own, and for the first time Joost Samyn was part of the team. For five days, booth C2-155 in Hall C2 was a meeting point for breweries, keg manufacturers and partners, with a stand party on Thursday evening.
drinktec in Munich is the world’s leading trade fair for the beverage and liquid food industry and takes place only every four years. In 2025, 58,281 visitors from 164 countries came to see 1,117 exhibitors from 68 countries.
AOBAOSI had exhibited at trade fairs before, including BrauBeviale, but with a much smaller stand. In Munich two things came together: a large stand and the first trade fair with Joost Samyn, who has headed international sales since early 2025. With it, AOBAOSI prepared for its new role as a supplier of keg spears and keg couplers.
Designed in brown and gold, with a bottle-shaped passageway, the stand showed keg spears and keg necks in illuminated display cases. At the bar, beer flowed from taps bearing the AOBAOSI logo; on tap was Fourchette from Brouwerij Van Steenberge.
Joost Samyn supervised the stand build himself and travelled to Munich ahead of the show to do so.
On Thursday evening AOBAOSI invited guests to an “After Exhibition Drink” at the stand. Industry leaders, customers and friends came together, and the stand stayed full well into the evening. For Joost Samyn, the fair marked a milestone for the commercial future of AOBAOSI.
One year on, the journey continues: at BrauBeviale 2026 in Nuremberg, AOBAOSI exhibits in Hall 7A, Booth 558.
